Starting over

starting over quotes

It’s never easy to start over.

In fact, it can be downright terrifying for some.

Others might find it cathartic, necessary, freeing.

Starting over can be confusing, frustrating, anger producing.

It can bring us to tears or light us up with joy.

When one begins again, there is often a mourning period — of what once was, what has been lost.

Followed by excitement for what the future may bring,

Accompanied by fear: Can I do this? What WILL the future bring?

Some may crumble, while others thrive.

Some will just hold on by a thread.

But all of us, inevitably, will create something new — a new life, new relationships, a new career, new homes …

And whether it is better than what we had before,

Is entirely up to US.

Renaissance Mom is starting over, with new postings, more frequent postings, and the same old RM style that brought many to this blog over two years ago. I hope my original readers will return once again, and I hope new readers will find me.

I need this. I’ve missed this and I’m ready for what the future will bring for this blog and me.

I hope you’ll join me for the ride.
